Speckled Trout Creek Falls eftir Billy Wilson Photography

This is a close-up of the waterfall near the end of Speckled Trout Creek, Lake Superior Provincial Park. This is in the wilderness of Northern Ontario, Lake Superior Provincial Park was created to preserve some of the beauty in the Algoma region. Speckled Trout Creek is a fairly long creek that comes out of Speckled Trout Lake miles upstream. While in Lake Superior Provincial Park you are not allowed to use live bait for fishing, this regulation has been made at an attempt to stop the introduction of invasize species into this prestine area. There are many other beautiful stream in Lake Superior Provincial Park and there are three camp grounds; Rabbit Blanket Lake, Agawa Bay, and Crescent Lake Camp ground. There are numerous hiking trail systems that have small designated areas for camping as well. There is no motorized traffic allowed off of the main highway and a few acces roads. So the only way you can get to some lakes is by canoe and backpack. Lake Superior Provincial Park is just south of the town of Wawa and within a few hours of the city of Sault Ste. Marie.
